Bridges
After learning he has terminal cancer, a single father takes his teenage daughter on a cross-country tour of famous bridges, and she discovers many secrets from both the present and his past.

GENRE: Drama. Road Movie.
When engineer and bridge enthusiast John Grey is diagnosed with cancer, he sells his possessions, leases a motor home, and pressures his daughter, Sheri, into a cross country trip enroute to her freshman year of college.
Along the way, John re-connects with three former players in a band he left after a car accident nearly killed Sheri and promulgated her parent’s divorce.

The road trip is a process of healing, discovery and acceptance for John, but it creates considerable conflict with Sheri who discovers many details of her dad’s past and his plan to avoid a painful death. John’s backstory becomes a vehicle for offering Sheri a vital life-lesson enabling her to mend a burned bridge of her own.
Bridges is a metaphorical tale of the healing process, the stages of grief, and the importance of love to the human heart.
