Maria escapes the smothering influence of her mother and sisters by flying to Beilla, Italy where she finds Carlo is married to the charming and sexy Laura, who is upset with her husband for sleeping with their nanny.

The sexual and romantic tensions run high as a repentant Aldo, Maria’s would-be groom, arrives at Carlo’s farm and tries to win back her love and save both marriages.
