Italian Wedding
A jilted bride seeks out her childhood sweetheart and finds his life an absurd, ominous mirror of her own future in marriage.
SUMMARY: After Aldo Campagnolo abandons Maria DiGiovanni at the altar, she discovers that her childhood sweetheart, Carlo is running an Italian imports business in New York City.
Maria escapes the smothering influence of her mother and sisters by flying to Italy where she finds Carlo married to charming and sexy Laura who is upset with her husband for sleeping with their nanny.
The sexual and romantic tensions run high as a repentant Aldo arrives at Carlo’s farm and tries to win Maria back as his bride and save both marriages.
